Radiation & Environment - Transport safety assessments

Projects related to the shipping of radioactive materials benefit from our knowledge of traffic analysis, health physics and safety assessment. A safety assessment of your transport often is necessary to test compliance with regulatory requirements. Usually a safety assessment report has to be submitted with the transport license application. An assessment by NRG may also be helpfull in optimizing the transport or transport route with respect to safety and transport workers dose.

NRG expertise

NRG's expertise on safety assessments covers many areas like construction, management of industrial facilities including nuclear power plants, radiological work in hospitals and laboratories, shipping of dangerous goods, etc. Projects having radiologicals aspects usually are conducted in our product group Radiation & Environment.

Reporting

The results of a study are alway recorded in a document. You are free to use it for your internal or external communication. Smaller studies can be reported in a letter or a presentation
