Radiation & Environment - Radwaste

The involvement of NRG with Radwaste covers research, consultancy and management for aspects like management, storage/repository design, safety, environment and costs.
Radioactive waste arises in various industrial processes, among others those that are part of the nuclear fuel cycle. Management of this type of waste requires specific precautions. Because of strategic and long term safety implications the selection of an option for the safe disposal of radwaste is an important decision which requires continued research.
