Radiation & Environment - Radiation protection services

The involvement of NRG with Radiation Protection covers research, consultancy, management and training. NRG (formerly: ECN Nuclear Energy, KEMA Nuclear and TNO CSD) has a large experience in radiation protection, gained by amongst others the operation of two nuclear research reactors, hot cell laboratory, and other facilities, and our experience with radio-biological and medical research. .

Example projects

EUTERP network: set up to promote a better integration of education and training into occupational radiation protection infrastructures in the Member and Applicant States of the European Union, facilitate the transnational access to vocational education and training infrastructures, promote harmonisation of the criteria and qualifications for and mutual recognition of Radiation Protection Experts, and remove obstacles for the mobility of these experts within the European Union.

Reporting

The results of a study are alway recorded in a document. You are free to use it for your internal or external communication. Smaller studies can be reported in a letter or a presentation

Our customers

Clients for our services are from national goverments, supra national organisations (EC, EU, OECD/NEA, IAEA), companies and NGOs.
NRG is also involved in European (research) projects related to the abovementioned topic. In this way clients have access to up-to-date knowledge from the international community.
