NRG News: Hero Staal to succeed Rudy Konings as manager of group FAI

On February 1, 1999, Hero Staal will succeed Rudy Konings as manager of the product group Fuels, Actinides & Isotopes. He will lead FAI from his office in Petten.

Rudy Konings leaves NRG for a position at the Trans Uranen Institute in Germany. His work at ECN and later at NRG on - among others - the research on transmutation of Actinides, the estabishment of the new Actinides Laboratory and his recent studies for parliament on management and processing of spent fuel, is highly valued.

We wish Rudy lots of success in his new job and looking forward to further co-operation with him.
