ICENES 2000: Instruction for Authors

Poster Presentations

For the poster presentations boards sized 0.90 x 1.70 m will be available.

Paper Selection:

Acceptance of papers is based upon review of the paper abstracts. There will be plenary sessions and poster sessions. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings on CD-ROM and paper, available at the meeting.
Abstracts can no longer be submitted. Accepted papers are welcome.

Letter of acceptanceApril 1, 2000
Full Papers June 1, 2000

Full Paper Preparation:

The proceedings for the ICENES 2000 conference will be published on CD-ROM and on paper. Papers accepted for publication in the conference proceedings will be due June 1, 2000, and must be submitted in electronic format. Authors should download and use the template file below as the basis for creating and submitting Full Papers.

Any trouble with creating pdf-files should be reported to the conference secretariat.

If the pdf-template can not be downloaded, send an e-mail to kuijper@nrg.eu to request that a copy be sent to you as an e-mail attachment.

Full Paper Electronic Format

The format of all Papers must follow the formating of the template file, and must use only the fonts listed in the template file. The preferred electronic file format for final Full Papersis the pdf-format:

PDF: Generated using Adobe Acrobat Distiller. The PDF format provides the highest degree of assurance that your Full Paper will appear correctly in the proceedings, since it requires no translation (all documents on the CD-ROM will be in PDF format). File names should be "xxx.pdf", where the blank is filled in with the log number assigned by the conference organization for the Full Paper.

Full Paper Electronic Submission

Full Papers must be submitted electronically, and mailed before June 1, 2000. Note that all files must meet all paper formating requirements, in particular using the specified fonts.
There are two secure ways to send us your contribution:
  1. By remote FTP: this option is available since March 2000.
    Rather than using e-mail, Full Paper files should be ftp'd to our anonymous ftp site.
