ICENES 2000: Hotel information & Tourist information
Hotel
NRG has made reservations for you in Hotel Marijke (****) in Bergen, a village close to
Petten. Bergen is beautifully located
near the sea. The room rate is 70 Euro (about 75$). Ask for ICENES brochure and
reservation form. If you fill out the form before July 1, 2000, we make the hotel
reservation and payment for you.

Tourist Information
Conference tour
Wednesday afternoon, September 27, 2000. Boat tour from Alkmaar to Amsterdam with
visit to "Zaanse Schans", a Dutch museum village.
Accompanying persons program
Excursions for accompanying persons will be organized on Monday, Tuesday and
Thursday. A selection has been made from a variety of Dutch cultural
destinations, including:
A. Zuiderzeemuseum (Dutch historic buildings and crafts) with steam train ride
B. Museum Broekerveiling (vegatable auction) with boat trip
C. Guided nature walking tour through the dunes
D. Old city of Alkmaar
E. Frans Hals museum (paintings) in Haarlem
