It is our pleasure to invite you to the 7th IEA Workshop on SiC/SiC for Fusion and the 1st International Workshop on C&SiC Composites for Advanced Fission. The workshops will be hosted by the Nuclear Research and consultancy Group (NRG) in Petten, The Netherlands, and will be held from 18-20 September 2006.

The workshops on SiC/SiC Composites are meant to increase collaboration between the international community working on the subject. Previous editions of the IEA SiC/SiC workshop for Fusion showed that this is an excellent environment to raise discussions appearing from the iterative process of development, testing and design, with the outlook to the long-term future of Fusion Power and Generation IV Fission Reactors. We are looking forward to meet you in Petten in September.
